Jude Marcella is a digital artist born and living in London, currently studying MFA Computational Arts at Goldsmiths part time. She completed BA Animation at the University of Westminster in 2017 and has since worked on short films, music videos, print media and more. Having before been focused on art and image-making in the form of painting, she felt something lacking in static media, and started to use 3D animation as a way of making images that also move and exist in different dimensions. Recurring themes seen in her work include intimate, handheld and closeup cinematography, plants and textiles, and a creeping sense of claustrophobia or entrapment.
